Albert Park surrounds a 1.8 km-long lake used for sailing and rowing. The park features sports ovals, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, a golf course, BBQs, playgrounds and picnic lawns. Walking and cycling paths encircle the lake. Dogs are permitted on-leash with some off-leash areas. It also hosts the annual Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.
