Albert Park

Albert Park is a 225-hectare green oasis located just three kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. It's renowned for Albert Park Lake and the surrounding 5-kilometre walking and running track that offers stunning views of the city skyline. The park is a hub for recreation, featuring numerous sporting facilities including a golf course, an aquatic centre, and various ovals and sports fields. It's equipped with multiple picnic and barbecue areas, playgrounds, and toilets. While entry to the park is free, much of the parking is paid, especially during major events. The park is famous internationally for hosting the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix on a temporary street circuit each year. Dogs are welcome on-leash throughout most of the park, with several designated off-leash areas available.
