Afton Street Conservation Reserve

The Afton Street Conservation Reserve protects basalt escarpments, wetlands and open meadows along the Maribyrnong River. It provides habitat for birds of prey and small woodland birds. Walking trails follow the river, but facilities are minimal to preserve its conservation focus. Dogs must be on-leash to protect wildlife.
