Abercrombie River National Park covers approximately 19,000 hectares and is located about 40km south-west of Oberon. The park protects remnant bushland in the Central Tablelands, featuring mountain gum and open woodland, and a 42km stretch of the Abercrombie River. It is popular for 4WD touring, with different entry points catering to various vehicle capabilities. Bush camping is permitted, but fires are only allowed in the steel fire rings at official campsites (Silent Creek, The Beach, and The Sink). The park provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, and bushwalking. Parking & Fees: There is no vehicle entry fee for Abercrombie River National Park. Camping fees apply for overnight stays.
